Our Pipelaying Isolation Tool. The single module CompactPlug is a mechanical pipeline isolation tool used for subsea dry tie in of pipeline.
The CompactPlug is also used as a welding barrier for tie in of wet pipelines, as it has higher delta pressure capacity than regular welding pigs. Finally, it is often used as a pressure barrier enabling partial flooding of a pipeline during pipelay.
The CompactPlug is Type Approved and certified by Det Norske Veritas.
